Huge /fat anemone shrimp. About 1.25" or so. Got these for my nano but my nem seems to be too small for them so it closed up and wouldn't open until I removed em. I have one in a ziploc container in my tank the other is hosting my acans but I don't want them anymore so $10 each

If you end up keeping them the nem will get use to them eventually. All of my maxi mini's were salty when i added a porcelain crab to them but a few days later they were back to normal with the porcelain sitting right in the middle of them.

Thanks screw it I'll try again! My porcelain hosts the other nem and he never minded him one bit, this one freaked me out as I'm not very used to this "reef" demon, only fish lol

From LA:
It is protected from the stinging cells of the anemone by the mucus secreted by the anemone, which coats the shrimp's body. Every time the shrimp molts to grow, it has to hide from the anemone since it loses its mucus-covered shell. It then has to slowly approach the anemone and re-cover its body with the mucus.

Might just be trying to coat itself.

Welp he's back in the nem and the nem is completely closed up. How long would you wait personally before you you are concerned about the nem being in danger or melting dying etc?

If you've had the nem for a while and know it to be in good health I would assume it should be fine for a few days.
