I fed my green carpet nem some krill earlier. As it was stuck to the nem, another fish went to pick at it and the nem expelled a lot of what looks like cloudy water. It did shrink up and ate the krill. I would assume this is a defense mechanism but my question is the water that came out - never have seen that before, and ideas?
