Let me ask this silly question...what do you feed your gbta or rbta with? and how often? I never any luck with keeping them alive for too long and thrive :help:
thanks guys...I tried to feed mine with squid but then it doesn't seem to grab it...maybe I should turn off the pump and let the mysis settle down on the mouth

my past rbta's used to take shrimp readily. i would just take a shrimp, pinch off small bits and place it over the mouth. it would always close up as soon as the food touches it's mouth or tenticles...
here is the pic..20" sunpod, 150w hqi...I have one false clown that is pairing up with my black/white clown but then they're hosting in the leather coral..I'm thinking of getting a small tomato or maroon for it, not sure if its a good idea
lol..thanks for the advice Emily...too late for that...just added a saddleback clown but then it doesn't seem to go into the anemone..the good news is that the anemone is eating the silverside
My GBTA is kinda weird..it doesn't like the light or something cause when I try to move the rock to give it some lights, it would move to another location...right now, its attaching itself to the top right corner of the tank
i feed mine once a month... they grow way to fast if i feed they once a week... when i first setup my tank i was feeding them twice or three times a week... but all i had in the tank were RBTA... they got laRge fast... one grew to the size of a dinner plate...
now i only have one and i feed it sparingly... i've had it for over a year now and it's still about 5" across... when i got it it was 3" wide... so that's great slow growth for a year old quadricolor...
