My LFS has a pair of Watanabei Angelfish that are beautiful and reef safe. My question is can I keep a pair in my 50 cube if I removed all my current fish? Just keep the 2 angels in a 24x24x20 tank? Or too small? LiveAquaria suggests at least 125gal but max size is only 5-6". What do you fish pros think?! Any feedback is appreciated..

Not a pro, but I think if their small you'd b ok for a little while but eventually you'll have to either upgrade or get rid of them. A past experience with a blue & yellow tang. They were fine for a while but once they started growing became aggressive, specially blue was constantly stressed

Personally that's pushing it but may be ok if they were the only two fish... I loved mine... and the one that jumped due to my stupidity... good luck with whatever you decide

Im not planning on any tangs, just the 2 Angels. I dont think the angels get as large or needs as much swimming space as a tang.
