So the moonlights were on and I noticed something glowing orange where I've never noticed before. It kinda looks like a baby anemone with an orange foot. Sorry for the crappy pic... Had to use the iPhone cam. This is the first time I've noticed it...

Btw this thing is tiny, it's about the size of a zoa polyp. The only reason I noticed it was because of the orange glow coming from the "foot." I took a look this morning and it hadn't moved.

On another note, my water was super cloudy about 2 weeks ago and I did multiple water changes which worked until the next day... Cloudy again! Then one day it all went away and got back to crystal clear. Could that have been anemone jizz? Maybe I'm the proud parent of a glowing orange footed anemone haha

Yeah I was trying to zoom in so it could be seen, I'm telling you this thing is small. The white thing to the right of it is just part of the rock.

Gotta try and get a better pic. Try again with the lights on and that should help a lot with the grainy look. Did you use macro setting?

does it have tentacles? could it be a small blasto perhaps?
It looks like it has some small tentacles on it. The part that kinda trips me out is that the foot glows orange; none of my anemones in the tank have glowing feet.

I didn't know there was a macro setting. I think it came out grainy because I had to zoom in. I'll see if I can move the rock closer to the glass tonight... Hopefully it'll come out better or ill pull out the real camera.

Some shrooms have tentacles per say

IME grainy is due to lack of sufficient light and blurry is due to zooming in too much on something tiny. Just try again with the lights on and see if it helps any.

based on your description (not on your picture at all. jk but not)..sounds like a ball anemone.
I think so too. Or a majano nem. Ball anemones are cool though I've had them in the past but they don't seem to stay visible forever. Not sure if they die or move our of the light. Majanos are pests but don't spread as fast as aipstasia so just kalk paste it if that's what it is.

Wife took a couple of pics before she left the house. It's hard to see the small tentacles and we don't have a macro lens or anything. Hope this helps
