Very tempting but I won't be able to make the pick up on Sunday. Good luck to all those picking up choati's!

Update: I lost one of the two I pickup on Sunday from Darrel. He show sign of fungus on his mouth. The second one is doing well eating black worm and whatever pods I have in my temp tank. I'm hoping his one makes it.

Anyone else from the group buy has any updates???

Sorry to hear one didn't make it. Same time it's good to hear the other is doing well. When you get the pods I'm sure that will help.

As I suggest to Eric and which I did myself, I ordered pods from aquariumdepot.com

They have free shipping on certain pod packages and may even have buy one get one free. I scored on the 1000 pod package. I ordered 4000 pods and got 4000 pods free. Also made it over the $75 so I got free shipping.

Both mine are currently eating reef nutrition roe. They don't stay out all day. Maybe 6 hours and then the hit the sand. So I make sure to feed when I see them out. But as soon as the pods arrive I'll have plenty of food for them whenever they are out.

ROE and frozen cyclops are my go to for finicky fish if you can't find the live pods.

Good luck guys... I've tried twice and both didn't last longer than a week. Their time table is like half a day from us so it will take them some time to get adjusted to our schedules.

Yep roe and cyclopeeze are go to's. I got 20 sunset anthias and 8 flavoguttas anthias, both eating!

If you guys want to keep that fish alive feed live black worms trust me.
Great advice!

I read that somewhere. The only thing I didn't like was the maintenance of keeping the blackworms alive and healthy. Seems more work that the choati. hahaha
