Any vertex omega 130 users?

So just installed my new vertex 130
And of course it was overflowing like crazy so I did some research and it says to let it run without the collection cup for 24-48 hours to break in its in about 6-6.5 inches of water

Do you guys have any pointers for me?
About the break in process and to leave the collection off?

I dont have the 130,but I do own the 150 and cone 200 in the past. Mine took a little longer to break in. Id say about 4days. These skimer work best in bout 7.5" of water. Also, you can adjust the volute on the pump and to draw more air. I usually do a 1.5 full turn, with the bubble/foam breaking at the bottom of the neck.
