How's the tank? Staying gone?
Sorry Matt, didn't see you post.

Yup, I broke down that tank, cleaned it and sold it. Lmao. Got rid of the anchor that was holding me down. Now my system is flourishing and my sps smiles at me and gives me a thumbs up whenever I pass by ; )

Some yes. Most I sold dirt cheap but neither transfered the dino. So it's something in the tank imo and not the coral themselves.

hey smite if transferring corals and fish that was in a dino system do you suggest freshwater dipping them before the transfer?

if so how long? does it really work?
Yeah it works but not all coral can handle it. It's a dunk and swish really. I read a thread on NR. It's a large sudden change in salinity that bursts the cell wall. So its just that initial shock. Swish it around really well, get the bulk off with a toothbrush before hand.

I have a friend with Dino in his 220 gal. He has done the peroxide and the 3 day black out twice but it keeps coming back. He is thinking about trying Dino X to see if it works. I have read mixed reviews. I will let you guys know how and if it worked

His tank has no corals and only two fish. Not sure if it would be better to use the Dino X or just pull all the live rock and clean it.

I just started my tank over today some of my corals were suffering to much from the Dino's

Will be doing a freshwater dip before the transfer to the new tank
