Anyone have a Kessil a160we (or 360) to borrow for a couple weeks?

Hi all,

Anyone in the OC have an extra Kessil that would fit a 35 degree reflector? I am trying to get a spotlight on a very tiny clam I got from AquaSD. I'm not sure it will make it, but I'd like to try to get about 300-350 PAR on the sand bed right where it is sitting to see if it can pull through. I am currently borrowing a 35 degree reflector. Wanted to see if it would fit another light like my Noopsyches. No, it really doesn't, but I rigged it up anyway.


Clam is in that little cup on the sand bed. It is TINY. Hippopus if you're wondering.

Anyway, does anyone have one of these lights I could try for a couple weeks to see if the clam survives? If it does, I'll probably shop for a Kessil or buy yours if it's available. I'm on a budget, so I can't go all out on a new light if the clam's going to die in a week. Thanks!

Bump, looking like I'll probably need to buy an a160we with gooseneck to get this to work for clams.

Thanks! I'm giving it a couple of days to see if the clam comes around. The rigged up Noopsyche with reflector is putting out enough PAR at the moment, but the tiny clam isn't opening up very wide. If it starts opeming up more, I will look into trying a Kessil, but if it doesn't then it might make no difference.
