Anyone have a soldier fish with other small fish?

So I have a big soldier fish. (Big eye black bar SquirrelFish) and its a carnivore. It eats like crazy and has a big @$$ mouth. I recently did a 3 day black out to get rid of dyno. I didn't realize the soldierfish was nocturnal hense the huge eyes to let in light. Well after the 3 day black out my flame hawk went MIA. No dead body anywhere. So I assume the soldierfish was hungry from 3 days and are it. Or it couldve just died or maybe swallowed byvmy carpet. The soldier fish seams to be a model citizen but I don't want risking him eating another fish. Anyone have any experience with this guy.? I love him. But I'm adding some small fish soon and will get rid of him if needed. Thank you in advance.

I wouldn't be surprised. Is the solider fish's stomach large? I would assume you'd see some protrusion if the hawk was decent size.

Well I didn't notice anything. But then soldier is really big compared to the small hawk. So probably wouldn't bulge at all. Either way I blacked out for 3 days and didn't notice he was MIA until 1-2 days later. I was so sad. But I'm more worried for future fish now and want to see others experiences with it and smaller fish.
