I had 6 Randall's, they stayed healthy as long as I fed 3-4 times a day. When I couldn't keep up they started dying

Well at first I was only feeding frozen foods but it got expensive so I switched to pellets and they ate it but that was around the time I slowed down on the feelings so maybe they didn't like eating pellets all the time either.

Sure, you can keep a school of this gorgeous fish. Just like any other anthias, it is best to have 1 male and the rest females.

Nice fish. Where did you get it from?
Long Story but co worker cousin is all into saltwater fish.

It doesn't look like a Randall.......but it's a purdy fish never the less
James you are right the Randell have a different body/nose shape. It might be a Tierra Anthias??

Did they eat pellets? Mine eat 2-3 a day

Man another fish that eats more than 1 time a day. Might be in the freebie section if I cannot train it. Even one of the copperband tried the pellets tonight

+1

i had a SHOAL of 5 in my 75g & started with frozen, then flake, then everything. I always add as many anthias as I can at the same time; they come out and start eating together, and their sheer number confuse other fish so they dont get bullied. I would get all females because eventually they all turn male 1 by 1 and kill each other.
