Apex Display Help

Just recently bought a apex lite setup from a fellow reefer and when i got home noticed that the wire connecting the display to usb was ripped anyone on here know how to repair it or if anyone can fix it and make it look nice with some shrink wrap i can pay cash or coral , thanks in advanced

Dude just strip it and match any cables in it. depending if the cables are for different things and if it has multiple cables in it it should be pretty simple.

theres 4 different colors tried connecting each color to each other but didn't work

Get your money back, that's bullshit.

I just contacted neptune systems and was told its 35 plus shipping to fix it gona ask seller to pay half to get it fixed

ended up sending it in to neptune systems to get fixed

yea the display alone is 129.99

you can alwys just skip the display and use your comp. or smartphone after you get it set up.

Can you calibrate the probes without the display?

So that is like $40? What is the turn around time? Anyway, If you had not shipped it, give it another shot. There are 4 wires in a USB connector, ground, d+,d-,positive. The ground and positive are the outer wires. The d+ Is next to the ground wire. If u hook the positive and the ground wire correctly, I think the back light will turn on.....however since you bought it with the wires broken, how do you know the display is not dead already ;-)?
I don't know how apex handles this situation.
