That's the simple way to look at it. I look at it for under a dollar a day for the first year you can keep your reef stabilized with precision dosing. Then after the first year it's freeeeeeeeee!!!! Great buy

I've setup 4 tanks with DOS units so far. Other than a friend dropping one and the head breaking on impact, these are great pumps and are such a joy to make adjustments to your dosing.

All the info the Apex tracks is nice. But being able to remotely adjust dosing values is great.
