Apex setup for alternating pumps

im thinking of setting up the powerheads in my 15g tank on an alternating schedule, here is what i'm thinking. Any feedback?

pump 1 80gph 24 hour time period, on 6 minutes, off 6 minutes
pump 2 80gph 0600 to 2100, on 4 minutes, off 6 minutes.

this will get flow one direction, then crossflow and then flow the other direction with a quieter time at night.

I don't know but when I read your plan and I thought to myself "jbj wave maker for $25 would have done the job more reliability and a lot cheaper"
