hey guys, I just noticed a few little aptaisias growing in my tank :a43: I tried using joe's juice but it seems like that just kills them for a bit then they spread again. I've heard of berghia's helping with the problem but I can't find any. Is there any other way to get rid of these bastards??

ive always had good luck with peppermints. if i ever have one that doesnt start eating them right away i just tear at an aptasia near where the peppermint hangs out ...and its on.

Peppermints did the trick for me. I had a massive problem when I came home from school, my mom thought they were cool looking......

I had to kill the big ones myself but the peppermints kept up with any new ones that appeared. That was until all 3 of them were gone, luckily they got rid of all the peppermints first though!

Peppermints are hit or miss indeed. Nudi Berghia will die off once they have removed the aptasia as nothing else for them to eat.

Get an Aptasia Wand and zap them as it works like a charm.

Geez the Aptasia wand sounds pricey. That's that laser thing right? I'm probably just gonna grab some berghia and then give them away once all my aptasias are gone. No use in keeping them and letting them die off. Haha hopefully someone else with an aptasia problem can use them
