It’s reef safe provided you don’t dose like 2000mg. I broadcast dosed in a 40b mixed reef for a couple of sick anemones and it healed them right up - did 250mg daily for a week

I used it for my sick anemone but i did it in a separate tank so that the antibiotics will not kill the nitrifying bacteria in my DT. Here is tge link for the instructions i followed:
