aqua scape ?

I have been in a lot of forums and am inspired to redo my rock work and my question is if I remove my rock to drill for acrylic rods or to bond the rock together will my tank start to cycle or if I keep the rocks wet will it be ok? Basically I want to arrange the rock on the garage floor for a few hours to get them the way i want them will I have problems?

It depends on how much die off you will have on the rocks. If they will be out of water for a few hours I think it might be a problem.

i think you wont have a problem if it is just a few hours. It will be just like low tide.

some bacteria will die off, maybe a mini cycle.

keep it out of the sun, use a spray bottle and keep it moist and it everything should be fine

Not sure, but I would think you might also have to worry about stirring up your sandbed, if you have one. Might get an ammonia spike and lose any fish you might have.
