I'm currently running the Carbon/GFO Reactor in my tank. It's very good to tumble cycle the media inside the reactor. They are the same as the biopellet the different I got in my the reactor is two foams. Thumb up for this reactor

I agree with the superstar known as ReefPLanet, the reactor is pretty nice...

Bonus is looking at the tornado like action of the biopellets swirling, which is kinda fun to look at :elefant:

I changed out most of my reactors to the biopellet reactor. It works great for both biopellets and gfo. You can run a really small pump and get better tumbling action. Not sure if you are close to my store, but you can see a liter of ecobak running in the standard aquamaxx off a maxijet 1200 with no problems. Great reactor IMO.

Thanks for the input. Anybody know where they have them in stock? MD says they're out for 3 - 6 months

Lets see if this video works. Keep in mind I am going super slow with adding the pellets so thats why it looks as if not a lot is in there yet.

Hey Mike I bought one of the BioPellet Reactors from Chad last week. I've got a cup of GFO going in it... I just threw a sponge over the bottom plate. Works great, gentle tumble on top and pretty even through the media.

I'm using the mini jet 606 with mine, turned down all the way, and a small ball valve reducing the flow just a bit more. I was going to use a 404 but was afraid it would be to weak.

*Let me try to post the video.

I was slacker and didn't pick up the one from Coral Gazers when I had the chance, does anyone know where I can pick one up?

Here's a video of my Aquamaxx XL just after hooking it up. The ghetto plastic BRS jar stand underneath was only to test it out before tucking everything away next to the sump.

After running for a couple of weeks there's a little more clumping but not nearly as bad as the other (BRS, TLF, etc) that I've tried. I'm only running around 1L of pellets but plan on slowly adding more.

MD says they're out and I called Chad on Saturday and he said he sold his last XL. :(
Thanks though
