A fellow reefer was selling his aquamaxx co-3 skimmer, so I graciously took it off his hands. This should work quite well in the new setup. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1402959273.557285.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1402959283.134461.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1402959293.046366.jpg
Need to loft it up about two inches, though. Advice?

Nice! If you need to prop it up, you can call John at AA to make you an acrylic stand or you can just use zip ties and egg crate. Both work well. If you go with John, make sure he doesn't charge you above $30. The stands are made from scrap acrylic that barely cost a few bucks. He made mine in like 5 minutes while I was waiting in his office.

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1402976398.304921.jpg used 2" PVC valves and a piece of marble tile to elevate the skimmer to the appropriate depth. This thing is working like a champ, and I can't even hear it running.
