What lid do you guys have and recommend? I need a couple lids made, that account for my hydra/prime light mounts..doesn't matter if it's mesh or polycabonate.

I got mine from Matt @ Octo Aquatics. He was one of the first to start making them. They're not cheap, but he has great customer service. There are few out there now, just make sure they use polycarbonate. I know it doesn't matter to you, but over time, it makes a difference.

Whatever you go with, I’d recommend switching out the clear netting for black. It gives it a much cleaner look and less reflection.

Black mesh has two problems, it shows salt creep more than clear mesh and it also cuts down light quite a bit more than clear mesh does. I really wanted to like the black mesh, as it did look better, but there are cons too.

Second this. I use tulle fabric from Joann’s / Michael’s. Holes are too small for any fish to jump through. Any impact on PAR is just offset by raising light intensity.

I did hear the salt creep on black does show more. But it may be easy to remove, just put the lid in the shower and hose it down.
