Back in April, I broke down my 90 gallon reef tank and donated the corals, mostly mushrooms and xenia, and fish to the Aquarium of the Pacific. Today, my family and I went there, met with the employee who took care of my tank break down, and she showed me where everything ended up. Im proud to say that the fish are on display around the aquarium, and they actually have a display revolving around soft coral with the stuff I had as the focus. Check it out!

Yeah check it out! I have a flame angel, multi color Pygmy angel, and yellow tang out by the small tank by the horseshoe crab tank outside. The chromis I had are also in the soft coral tank.

Thats so awesome. Im sure your fish and coral thrive in their forever home. How do you go about donating livestock to them? How long did they quarantine them before going into the display?

I literally reached out to them via email and we went from there. They were in quarantine 30 days. They also have my bonded clownfish in the back attempting to start a breeding program. Cool stuff!

This is cool my LFS wanted to donate a black tip shark to Scripps and they would not take it. Maybe a option for my PBT, he needs a bigger tank.
