I can't remember the safe silicon that you can get from Lowes?? Is it anything that says 100% silicon?? Please help

or if you are close to Grainger, you can get the momentive RTV brand. They come in both black and clear

Just don't get the one that say "prevent mole or mill dew".

I believe lowes also caries one that says that its safe for fish tanks in the area where they have the super glue.

If you are referring to the LOC-Titet brand. I was lead to believe it too, since it has a logo of a fish on the packaging. STAY away, it is definately not aquarium safe.

Russ do this. Don't cheap out on "100%" silicone. There are still additives. The aquarium safe stuff is at every Lowes I've been in and is meant for what your using it for. Not meant for outdoor applications on Windows and doors.

That's the stuff!

The stuff I picked up says aquarium safe right on the front. After doing a little reading I have found the GE type 1 is also safe but only comes in big tubes. I needed it to seal some stuff up and needed the smaller applicator. If I had a bigger project I would have no worry about using type 1 in my tank
