Hey I've always had a Tunze Osmolator... then switched to the IM Hydro Fill . I did have the efins ato and it worked ok but I only had it for a few months. I've never tried the jbj although I know many people have that one.

I am going to set up a 20 gallon long with a sump and would like to try something less expensive if possible. So what are you guys using that doesn't break the bank? I plan to have the tank near my existing resevoire and have the pump and line come from that.

The tunze osmolator nano is my first choice, and of course I sold one a while back for 80 bucks haha and now I need it.

Anyone have one available for sale or trade? In OC preferably.

Suggestions?

JBJ gets my vote. Orrrrrrrrr. you can get the avast and hook that up to your apex and then use your Tunze on the small tank

I use it with the aqualifter if the reservoir is close by. If not then the BRS 50ml pump.
The reservoir will be like 4 feet from this tank... not sure if you remember but my new tank will be in front of my window in the dining area and my res is under my nano next to my large tank.

Yes, there is a tunze nano on R2R for $80 right now. Thats what I use on my QT. works awesome!
Cool yeah hoping to find something locally though.

If it's not going up a crazy high distance then aqualifter should be able to do that length. Let me know if you want to test it out. I might have an extra aqualifter laying around somewhere.

LOL. I like using the apex because I have it setup so if it is running for longer than 10 minutes it emails me. Helps remind me to check/refill the reservoir.

I just picked up a Hydor ATO, haven't used it long enough to recommend... but looks simple and doesn't use mechanical float switches. So far so good.

I have had mine for a while and have no complaints. Going to get another for my boys nano soon.
