Well, with some sadness, I have decided to let my Aussie Tusk go.
Had him for the last 2+ years, and he's grown quite a bit. About 5-5 1/2" now. Eats anything, including Nori.
Super healthy, and lots of personality.
Now for the disclaimers....
Even though he is housed with other wrasses, he has kindof turned into a d!ck. I highly suspect him in the disappearance of my Flame wrasse. He thinks he is the boss of the tank, and is more aggressive than most Tusks of his size.
He has been in my SPS Reef since I got him, and has never touched any of the snails, but..... He may in a new enviornment. No guarantees there.
He would do really well in FOWLER. He is currently in my 240 and swims the whole length, although as I just found out, camera shy..
I don't HAVE to get rid of him, so unless you have a decent sized, established tank, this fish isn't for you.
I know these fish are $150 all day long at the stores. I am firm on my $100 cash only price, which I think is more than fair for a well established Aussie Tusk.
