What’s the best system available now? I have an Apex classic, and I’m not sure if the DoS integrates with the older system.

ideally I’d want something they more “analog” so if there’s less chances for me to screw it up lol

more typically water change schedule is 20-30 gallons every month but if I can do 5-10 automatic weekly that’d be easier and less annoying for me.

Almost any reputable dosing pumps nowadays can be used for AWC.

If you already have the Apex classic, then I would use the DOS doser. I don't think the new DOS QD is compatible with Apex classic though. You might want to check with Neptune on compatibility.

I use the previous version of the DOS with my really old apex Jr. I had an auto water change in the past. System worked well.

The non-QD version works with Apex Classic. It's just louder than others.

In my last auto water change setup I had the pump and reservoir located 50 feet away from the tank in a basement, so the noise didn’t matter
