hire someone to do it, the end.... OR stop being lazy and do it! Sometimes I wake up at 7am just to do a WC before going to work even if I worked 13 hours previous day :p

How big is your tank? Y ou could use a liter meter to do small daily water changes. You would just need to fill a larger enough mixing container

I use a dos to change about 2.5 gallons a night on my 300. It's been working great for the past couple months. No more going 3-4 (ok 6,7) months without doing a water change.

If you don't have an apex you could always buy a stenner peristaltic pump with two heads on it and put it on a timer. Just have to measure how much it takes at then set the time accordingly. You can find them for less than the DOS units and they are extremely accurate and reliable. Calibration is almost never done if ever. Ive personally never used one but its what Ill be going with when I decide to set up my AWC. Disclaimer, they are somewhat loud lol so you'd probably want it to be running when no one is home.

Water on the floor? Not sure I understand, that would be a pretty bad system.

I pump old seawater out and new seawater in at the same time. It's been working great
