Hello,

I received an awesome surprise in my aquarium today.....over 25 baby cardinalfish! I have been able to capture them from my display tank after being released from the dad's mouth, and have placed them in a breeder container within my aquarium.

Now the feeding starts...well none tonight because I don't think I have the right food that they need, but I want to be prepared when I go to the fish store tomorrow.

I have read alot on people feeding baby brine shrimp, this seems very technical and time consuming. Are there other alternatives?

Maybe baby brine shrimp is easy to do, either way, I'd appreciate any advice to keep as many alive as possible.

Thank you,

Joel

Fun stuff! What does the google say? I have no experience with cardinals, but assume it's like clowns where the first couple weeks are rotos even before baby brine.

Are you taking pics? Might be something cool to document!

Thank you everyone for your advice. I am trying Hikari First Bites as the main food and feeding 5 times a day. I did purchase brine shrimp; however, I am avoiding the idea of this science project. My goal is to do more feeding, and just keep the water quality up with more water changes.
