So I had the hydroid looking thing on my zoa colony for a couple months now. Never thought nothing of it since my Zoas never closed. And today I see it eating a hermit. Is it a nem? Should I kill it?

Yea I think it's a ball nem after googling it. Getting mixed info though. Some say pest others say harmless. Can anyone chime in? When in doubt kill it but wouldn't mind keeping it if it is harmless

does it have any color to it...I have one that I found a while back in one of my rocks..but mine has like a red body to it..i think the one I have is a strawberry anemone . looks like ur but just has like a red body to it..or a lite tint of red, and opens up more at night , it seems like it like more shaded areas.. ill try and get a picture of it asap

I don't have a good camera. Just my iPhone camera.

Magik it was in my Zoas and my Zoas were definitly kept in a shaded area.
