Well after almost exactly 24 hours of thinking about getting back into the hobby, I have a tank... LOL Picked up a IM NUVO Fusion Nano 20.

Im open to lighting suggestions, I picked it up at Jims Exotic Reef (Jim is a good guy) and he suggested a 2 bulb T5 fixture, but I think im leaning more towards LED. Had a R240R Nano on my last NUVO tank and I was happy with it, but I want to be able to grow everything (zoos, LPS, SPS). I see some people running Nanobox lighting but the pricepoint is crazy high considering the competition, for just a little more you can get a Radion or any AI light.

Anyways, taking the rest slow and gonna do research, want a minimal approach but with good supporting equipment, and definitely not going to put an APEX on it. I am eyeing the new COBALT heaterm that will probably be my choice for that, possibly throw a JEBAO on there, or pony up and get a MP10. Gotta figure out what I have still.

Welcome back chad..I'd say look into the hydra 26 HD. Comes with built wifi adaptor,so no need for additional controller. Driver over drive is a game changer..

Your not going to have a controller?
Sup Cody, I didn't want to, but I may end up getting one down the road. Originally I was gonna go for the 10g cube and just do a lower budgeted tank setup, but I liked the idea of have a couple more fish choices so went with the 20g which makes a little more sense to get one. Trying not to spend a lot of money!

I hear you. At least get a used rkl or a ranco controller for the heater.

Hey Chad welcome back. I have a brand new temp controller you can have whenever we get a chance to meet up. Bought and never used it. Controls heater and fan/chiller

No I've been working in the bay area for a few months now. I can always ship it to you when I get home. It's still in the shipping box lol

A DJ switch will solve most of your woes for control. Not much to it than that. Unless you find a reefkeeper for cheap...

What ATO you going with?

Undecided, I used to have an aqualifter with JBJ ATO before, but had some trouble with the head height as it was like double the recommended 2.5' max.

I had the same problem with my aqualifter and it was a pain. I really like my Tunze ATO. It keeps the water precise. The pump is also powerful, but it's a little loud when it kicks on. Still, it hasn't failed me yet.

So I think I will be getting an ATI Sirius X1 or X2, they are ahead of the game in my opinion. Probably a Tunze Osmolator as you suggested Confuse.
