I went to bobs tropical fish to buy black worms and got a deal on these two. I was reading and these two look males? Can they be a pair even if the fin is long?

That's a tough call. I have had multiple males get along and then i have had multiple males that chilled in opposite corners of the tank. Either way, nice pick up.

I had one in a 30 gallon and it was a complete jerk. Killed several smaller ones I tried to add.

Not sure on the sex of yours but they are a cool looking little fish.

Once they were only collected in a certain small area... now they have take over many other areas due to collection and getting released in other locations. Kinda like the lionfish prob we are having in Florida.

I didn't know that. I thought they were endangered in banggai
