Well I ordered sch 40 furniture grade for my tank as sch 80 just seems like overkill, plus the costs will start to drive up on everything especially since you'll have 6 drains, at least 2 returns and a minimum of 2 gate valves.
Thanks Shawn. Would you go with Sch 40, with the furniture grade ts, 3 ways, and couplers?

I noticed they have furniture grade pvc, schedule 40 pvc, etc... can you link me to the one you chose?

well I got sch40 furniture grade from a dif company (formufit) off of home depot. But Candsplastics.com is the only place I saw that makes 1.5" in assorted colors. I picked up gloss white for my drains. get the sch40 furniture grade. Don't get the thinwall as it might be too brittle

I sent you a text with my quote. I think I added the right one. And am now realizing, I forgot to add the drains to it hahahaha

wow man! looks awesome! haha you got your AGE tank faster than I got my CD tank! Can't wait to see the final product.
Luckily they agreed to use my tank as their display for RAP. It basically bumped me to the top of the list. Otherwise I'd definitely still be waiting. Still waited a few months though.

I got 6 buckets of IO today for half price!

BRS has their colored pvc on sale today as well so I ordered some.

3/4" Gray pipe with Blue fittings for the returns.

1 1/2" Blue pipe with Gray fittings for the drains.

Here are some photos of the 16" Synergy Reef Shadow overflow boxes. These are beta versions as the final product hasn't shipped yet.

Sooooo....I saw those Synergy Reef Shadow overflow boxes at RAP and spoke to the AGE rep there. Apparently those are made with injection molded polycarbonate. I know that polycarbonate has a high impact strength but the sample they had there seemed a bit thin walled. Could you comment on what your thoughts are on the Shadow overflow since you have them on your tank? I am curious what you think about them since I am thinking of using them for a build.

They aren't hooked up so I can't really comment on that. But they are supposedly stronger than its predecessor so I'd assume so? Its not like these are under pressure anyway. They did recommend supporting the drain pipe vertical runs to prevent any leaks or potential problems.

I did win a Shadow Overflow at RAP, after I bought these. So if you want one, Id sell the extra I have for $140... which was the intro price. I believe they are 200 now.

Here are some toys I've accumulated so far.

2 Vectra M1s, 3 x MP40QDs, a couple Vertex media reactors, 48" controllable led for under the tank, and a AquaMaxx C0 5 with Avast Marine Skimmate Locker.

I need three of these so prob be my next major purchase for the build. The Multi Swirls can be plumbed 1/2, 3/4, or 1" returns. Mine will be 3/4". The tank has 3/4" euro brace acrylic splash guard all around so I'll just mount them that way.

BeanMachine are you planning on adding a CxReactor? Big a$$ tank like that would make dosing seem costly

I am looking for a CaRx Regulator recommendation. Anyone? Are the Aquarium Plants ones still pretty good? I don't need it atm but I will at some point. The tank will start out with the GHL Doser 2.

If anyone has a new one they didn't end up using I'd be interested. I've got equipment to trade or cash.
