Hey all,

I have no time or engergy to properly get rid of the AOFW and Mondi Nudis from my SPS.

So here is what I would like to do:
- Give them away
- Maybe get a frag or two back if you treat them successfully (in 6 months or so, I am going without acros or montis for at least that long in my display).

What I have:
- Large purple Tri-Color Valida colony (size of softball)
-- This is the same beautiful purple SPS I brought to many SCRK meetings, it is still looking great and growing, in fact I never saw any AEFW fall off of it when basting, but I am sure there are some inside it...

- good size Red planet milli
-- Still looks OK, some green left, never saw an AEFW on it, but again, probably there....

- good sized Spongodes
-- Definitely has monti nudibranchs, needs fragging, dipping to cure, even then I wouldn't be bummed if you just tossed this one (lots of folds for those stupid tiny eggs to hide). But it's a beautiful green and fast grower when healthy (it's been growing fine even with nudi's chowing on it)

- Small frag of green digi (millipora)
-- Never saw monti nudis on it, but again probably on it somewhere...

- good size Miami Orchid
-- Lost some color, but still alive and growing.

- Some other small SPS frags

== Here is the catch, you need to take them all, and I would like to give them to someone who will try and save at least some of each piece, and be willing to set me up sometime in the future with some frags...

I will post some pictures of the corals later this week if I find the time.

I want to take down the tank that holds all of these SPS as my energy costs running a tank in the cold garage is killing me.

If you get them, please do not frag these up and sell them, I could have made hundreds of dollars on the valida alone over the last few months, but I will not knowingly infect another just for some quick cash...

Oh man. I feel your pain. I just reintroduced a monti to my tank after losing 3 caps and 3 digis to monti eating nudis several months ago. It's a shame you're so far from me... I have a 20 long with 150 watt MH that has been up and running for roughly 3 years, and it's currently coral free. I'm no stranger to monti nudis or flatworms. I've successfully (and unsuccessfully) dealt with both in the time I've had a tank.

I'd be willing to give it a try, and I promise I wouldn't do a frag and sell... Heck, I'm not even motivated to frag and sell what I already have.

Mike,

I could give them a shot in my 90 gallon cube. Swing by my pad and let me know if you think it's a good home. I've successfully treated red bugs before, but that's about it. My SPS are doing great in my 180. Goal would be to treat them in my 90 and eventually migrate them to my 180 where they could grow out.

My 90 has been maturing, hoping to make it all SPS very soon.

I have a 30 gal tank running with my sand and LR and a bunch of brine shrimp and other micro critters. This is only running so I can do a precycle prior to switching into my new tank. SO I could take them (depending on what size tank they require) and try to save them. I don't have great lights (t5's) If you think this will help then PM I am very interested.
