If you don't have zoas or care for them much, get a Klein Butterfly. It will keep your aiptasia population in check and is extremely easy to keep (unlike the CBB). I'm putting one in every tank from now on. Besides, IF/when those nudis finish off the aiptasias, you'll need to re-home them or they'll die. I've spent soooo much $$ on nudis (and peppermint shrimps) before -- total failure. Hope you'll have better luck than me!

I thought about that. I do love the look of that fish as well. I actually have some Purple Deaths I would love for it to consume :) I just fear reseting the pecking order in my tank. The last scopas and foxface addition took weeks in acclimation. They were both able to fight back and I think that's the only reason they made it. It might be a death sentence for a Klein?
I've struck out with nudis when I had wrasse. They are pricey now for sure though.

I have the following adult tangs: achilles, sailfin, purple, yellow, and blue! + foxface and damsel — all living in harmony and didn’t bother the Klein. Again, perhaps I’m lucky? They are all well fed

I hear ya. For me it's my powder brown. He's the boss but what sucks is once a new fish is introduced, he needs to remind the whole tank of that. I could put in a wrasse and he'd chase it to death. Total A hole but one of my favorite looking fish :)

lol — true. I hate powder blues and browns. They are bullies…and prone to ick! Beautiful fish but I vow never to get them again.

You could try the mirror trick but hit & miss.

Good luck!
