I have used a JBJ Artica, which was a solid performer.I am now using a Teco which I really like.It has a few options like "quiet mode",and you can add a heater and u.v.Their website has a detailed calculator to find the right size for your tank

i had a current usa for my nano that had a plug for ur heater so that way the heater and chiller never turned on at the same time..thought that feature was a standard untill i got my JBJ arctica..now i just gotta hope my heater and my chiller are calibrated the same (ya right) and never turn on at the same time...during the summer its not a big deal cuz i just leave my heater off..but well see what happens during winter...but my current Usa never gave me problems it was a 1/15hp and my jbj arctica 1/4hp works great...i would say look for a good used one..thats what i did
