I'm doing research on the best aquarium manufacturer. What are your thoughts? Any and all input is welcome.

Thanks!

I have a Visio so they get my vote. But they tottaly screwed up my custom build by putting the bracing 2 low. They came out to my house and fixed it.

I've heard really great customer service from Visio and well pretty much limited to no customer service with Leemar.

One of the challenges I'm having with Visio is that they insist on having cross braces (2 of them) for a 72x30x24 tank. And that's a deal breaker for me.

That exactly what I have! I know they insist on it but if you throw a nice slim canopy ontop you'll never know the diff. Plus better safe than sorry. I I'd rimless straphire. I'm very pleased they even split the cost of a canopy because they messed up.

I'll know when it times come to clean the glass cross brace. I hated doing this in the past, I'm not going back if I can help it. I understand why they do it, I'm sure it adds strength to it, but it's not something I look forward to having on my brand new build.

visio durable well built

I agree. DAT Cross brace. Booooo!

If its a standard size tank... sca aquariums... 3 sided starfire cheaper then anyone around
I'm more concerned about craftsmanship, durability, and customer service. Price is important, but not my main focus.

i love my rimless Leemar 48x24x20
Thanks for the input.

i vote leemar fosho
i have had many lee mar, visio, and cad lights tanks.

leemar is best, but you have to be an educated buyer, which you are thunder, and be very specific with the build and drawing/details/diagram. also be careful who you order from, an uneducated lfs owner will not get it correct. if you order lee mar i would personally go thru ali or aaron.

i have ordered visio, and they are out of LA, my 180 was visio, great tank but lee mar cuts and silicone job is better. visio is cheaper, so visio is a close 2nd.

i would not suggest going cad lights at all.

Leemar about 6 years ago before their master builder left. I've seen many flaws in thier recent builds not major ones just cosmetics(bubbles, sloppy silicon work, silicon color mismatch or not matching tank specs to cad files.
