Hey everyone,

Well here's another question for you all that I have been wondering about.

Where is the best place for dosing?

I am currently dosing in my return section of my sump. Is that ok or can it be a problem?

Also let us know where you are doing your dosing and also past experience from mistakes you made that others could avoid.

Thanks again can't wait to here your responses.

Dosing into the drain area (or wherever is furthest away from your return pump) will be your best bet for most sumps if you are trying to get a good mix before it hits the return pump. If you are dosing straight into the return pump section, you're going to see the least amount of dilution before the dose hits the return and gets blasted into your display. May or may not matter, but I keep mine away from the return area for this reason.

With all the bubble traps we have in our sumps, the dossages seems to sit a little too long ime. I was dosing 90ml and I moved the location to the middle section and now I'm down to 30ml. The fact that most tanks have a ton of current being moved by mp40s, closed loops, etc, I'm leaning on moving my dosing over to the return section.
