So i want to add a little bit more flow to my 50cube... I currently have a MP10 on the left side glass but i want to add a small powerhead to the back wall behind the scape. Mainly to get rid of any dead zones. Any ideas?

Thanks

In my 50 cube I have 2 rw4 and 1 tunze 6040 and zero dead spots. love how quiet and efficient these pumps work together.

Gotcha, so im assuming the 6040 is on the back wall?
that's where i wanted it to go but i have a few large pieces of tonga branch that didnt permit that....so i have it on the side a bit lower than my other two and pointing towards the front to keep all debris suspended and going into the overflow.

$60 for a controllable powerhead in the RW4... Cant beat that! Worth a try if you ask me.

I've 2 MP10's on my 50cube... no dead spots.. run the pumps at different cycles day to day... and 100% power manually time to time to get debris off the rock, sand, bottom... but, must have filter sock, good skimmer to pick all that up...

Where do you have them positioned?

Actually just ordered a RW4 to try out... only $60 and being delivered tomorrow. If it doesn't work out as planned then yeah another MP10 is in order.
You are not going back to an mp10 after you try an rw4.....trust.
