Bought a new ati 8x39 dimmable sun power unit. And now i want to know what's the best mix to get great color from corals and good growth.

For my 6 lamp I have something similar- 4 B+ , 1 P+, and 1 C P+

Depending on your taste and white or blue you like it, you would substitute a Blue + for a Coral +, or vice versa.

Mike solitude127 liked having a GE 6500k if I remember right for better growth.

Ok so am going to go with

5b+,2c+, 1p+.

Seems like a good setup for both a nice clean look and good growth as well.

Keep ur eyes open for my new build :)

What do u guys think about.

3b+,3p+,2c+?
I doubt ur gunna be happy with the way that looks. 3p+ is gunna be super purple/pink. If it was me (I like 20k), I would do this:

Blue+
blue+
Coral+
True Actinic
Blue+
Blue +
Coral+
Blue+

If u like it more 14k, then remove a blue+ and add another coral +. If u like 10-12k, add a GE6500k bulb. The coral+ bulb is a great bulb, and IMO better looking then the Purple+ bulb.

I'm running:

4 Blue+
1 Actinic+
1 Purple+
2 Coral+

I get about a 18K look. It's white light and not the blue you get from 20K. I'm contemplating on losing the Actinic next time I change bulbs.
