Hello.

I picked up a Male Blue Jaw Trigger on Friday.

Over the weekend he has acclimated well, swimming all over the place.

I noticed that when I feed him, Spirulina Brine Shrimp, he attempts to eat it, but then spits them out.

I picked up some regular brine shrimp and he is doing the same thing.

Does anyone have any ideas in regards to what he would Like to eat?

try scallops... that always does the job for me with triggers and aggressive fish

you can get small scallops in a 1/4lb bag from asian markets for like $2

So just get baby (small)scallops from the market, just as if you would buy them for ourselves?

Then just thaw them out / chop them up, and thats it?

the ones I get are already cut up... you can find it in the freezer section usually.. and yea they're the same ones we get for ourselves :)

Just be patient most triggers do that at first. My blue jaw did that for about a week. Now he eats anything I put in the tank, even pellets.
