I only ask because I have some that has nowhere to lay its mat on so it just grows outward. I thought ppl were having the same thing going on & just hyping up gsp

sigh... first of all... GSP are all gorgonians... it's briareum stechei gorgoniua... something like that... the branching variety is a different species... closer to briareum asbestinum...
