Hey guy, just wanted to share my experience.
Had a small bubble algae outbreak a few months ago on just 1 certain rock. i kept it at bay for awhile then it exploded just alittle bit and with that bubble algae bloom along came bryopsis. Now mine never got out of hand just a few string of it here and there and one little patch of it which all showed up within 3 days. I panicked and read about how horrible it is and how its one of the worst algae to deal with. But all i ended up doing was just boosting my magnesium up to about 1800 ppm. been keeping it at that for 8 days now. and i cant see any bryopsis and my bubble algae is almost out the door as well. very very little bubble algae left.

For raising my mag i used "Kent Tech M Magnesium" its a liquid form
Also added a Halloween hermit a week ago. not sure if he is helping on the bubble algae haven't seen him touch it.
and replaced my carbon about 4 weeks ago.

those are the only changes iv made.

just wanted to share what helped my out with bryopsis and my bubble algae

I had the same problem with my new build. I also used the kent tech-m. Hopefully mine doesn't return.

I too used this method for my Bryopsis issue.

I ran it at 1750-1800 for a 5-6 weeks, which is far longer than you should. It did take care of the Bryopsis, but I lost some color on my Vivid Rainbow Delight and my Utter Chaos zoa's seemed to fade. UC's are back to normal, but rainbow delight still hasn't gotten all it's color back.

Once the Bryopsis starts to die, it turns white. This is when you can safely remove it. Otherwise you can wait until it dies and detaches itself, however going from 1300 to 1800 range and back down should be in a 3-4 week period.
