Hey guys; so once a week or every other week i test my water an add calcium, reef traces and plus with iodine etc...

What are the best products to use? I cureently am with seachem. Liquid iodine, powder calcium, powder alk, reef plus and trace liquid form.

Is that an all in one i can use? How can i make this easier.

Its a 50 gal reef/fish. What do you guys think? Need somepointers and products like a magnesium strontium all in one something that i can replace with all the current supplements. Thank you

Calcium reactor or 2part dosing are popular. I think it depends on how much sps you have.

Not that much corals yet
No clams
Weekly additions of 1-3 teaspoons of calcium and alk
Coraline hasnt grown yet, very little sparks here and there.

Imo you don't have enough depletion of cal alk mag to run a cal reactor, or dosing pump. Just keep doing what you are doing and you will be fine. If it ain't broke, dont fix it. Just my 2cents

Yeap that works, or try kalk in your a.t.o. water.. but that takes a science and if you add too much you could make it snow in your tank. But if u wanna give it a try I have a ton for free.. Lmk

As long as ur using quality salt and doing reg water changes u should NOT have to dose anything, especially with only soft and lps corals. NOW if u had a tank full of SPS then u will probably need to dose alk calcium and maybe mag. For example I use Red Sea Coral Pro salt and it has all the trace elements, and correct alk ca mag etc in it so everything gets replenished with a water change. What I've always been told is don't dose what u can't test for. It will end up saving u money too.
