I wouldn't. Would u really want that calcium rich water going through that pump and causing calcium build up in the motor block and around the impeller quicker. Plus you would be skimming out any essential elements that would be come out of the media as it dissolves.
My effluent drops in the sump a few inches away from my return pump so that the calcium rich water goes in the tank.

You could have the drip line exit near enough to the skimmer so that it is mixed some and then any excess Co2 would be removed by the skimmer as mentioned by mic209.
