Calcium reactor?

can't afford a big one but If i purchased a calcium reactor rated for a 100 gallon for my 270 gallon tank. better then nothing right?

I would it say it depends on your calcium demand from your corals. If you don't have many, than you can get by. But if you have tons of SPS, then I'd stick to dosing until you have more cash to either upgrade to a 2nd chamber (like the Reef Octopus reactor), or purchase an appropriately-sized reactor.
