Anyone check out the waters lately? Its getting warmer lol. Maybe one day we can throw corals into our side of the beach and watch them grow?

I used to have several different scientific collection permits from DFG. Great times! Coldwater rocky reefs are the best!

Yeah but chilling a temperate climate tank has gotta be expeeeeeeeeeensive...

I've got 2 types of macro algae in my tank that I got down by Ocean Beach in SD. Both growing, not terribly fast, but they are.

I got a bunch of snails from the mudflats area upriver at dog beach, SD but only a couple have survived thus far, which is probably about 4 months
