I use a Flipper on the inside and just vinegar/water with a soft cloth on the outside. So far so good.

thanks! with the hammerhead float, do i have to slip the wet side into any special cloth? I've noticed at my local lfs they have a slip on cloth on the wet side of the float.

Hey Ryan, how big is your tank and does it has a lot of coralline algae? If your tank is big and has many coralline algae buildup, I would definitely invest in the flipper max. A little pricey but heard a lot of good reviews about it.

I use a Mag•Float w/scraper on the inside(of course) and Kent Acrylic/Glass Cleaner Polisher. After using the Kent spray I noticed the touch of the Starfire glass is super smooth and stays clean longer. I thought is was the same as computer screen cleaner, which I also have, but it has something that doesn't leave any trace but for a very smooth feel.
The largest Mag•Float has a scraper on one end that extends the reach without the magnet being so close that it attracts sand.
I've been using this setup since last summer with no problems/scratches.

hey jeffrey. my tank is only a 75gal and just started the cycle a couple of weeks back, so no coralline yet. I just want to pick up all my maintenance parts now so when the time comes, I won't have to go driving everywhere looking for supplies.

They are pricey, and I waited a long time to buy mine because I wasn't sure it was worth it, but it totally was. :)
