Hey guys! Thought I would finally post this up since its finally stabilizing and coming together. Got the tank earlier this year from Smite.

Lighting is a Maristar II fixture with 3 x 54w blue plus and 1 x 54 purple plus, 27w of royal blue LED and 1 x 250w Phoenix 14k metal halide

Flow is a RW15 and WP25 and 2 koralias + MP10, hoping to swap the koralias and MP10 to a gyre type powerhead soon.

Skimmer is a Bubble Magus BM-220 Return pump is a danner 1800

Dosing is DIY 2-part with BRS dosing pumps and kalk topoff.

Thanks for looking!

The start:

Wow so glad you posted pictures and that Mike's old tank went to someone who can make it as beautiful as He had it. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys! I told Mike when I picked up the tank I would get a thread going...months later it finally happened haha. Kept the original stand but also working on a cool facade to go around it eventually.

Dang looks great Calvin! Mike was the original owner of the tank. I picked it up from Ev'e. You got that thing looking good man. That clam is killer too

Thanks Matt again for the great deal on the setup, sorry I got your name wrong, I had your SN right in the OP haha.

No pics of the rockscape as I sorta built and moved stuff as I went. Mix of rock transferred from my 80g plus some nice dry rock from reef cleaners that is covering pretty well with coralline now. Left side is a big cave while the right side is a couple of rock mounts pushed together. I tried to keep the tank pretty open rock-work wise to allow plenty of room for fish to swim and the corals to grow.

Hey guys tank update, added a few more fish and two more T5's, needed more coverage due to tank width. Getting good growth, acros need some trimming. Trying to crank out a little more color and the fish are definitely helping.

Thanks guys! I've been really happy with the stability in a larger tank, makes it a lot more set it and forget it.

As for the blue tip stay, it's a colony I got from a fellow Reefer. Aussie origin, the pics don't show it well but it's actually bicolor tips, baby blue with the very tip being a nice pinkish purple color. Main body has green corallite edges too. One of my favorite pieces considering it started pretty brown with a ton of red bugs when I first got it. If you look at the first post second pic you can see what it looked like around April of this year.

Red striped anthias, he's developing more male characteristics as time goes by, pulling some greens and purples now instead of just the orange/red.

The higher fish load is definitely helping color with the sps, getting better day by day. Also added one of my favorite angels, he's a beast for pellets and mysis so hopefully that keeps his picking to a minimum. He hates the copperband for whatever reason lol.

Couple pics and short vid of him chomping some pellets:

Couple update pics, all fish are pretty happy and minimal picking on coral from the blueface. Doing a little rescape to add a few rocks for some more grow out real estate.
