Never seen anything like this before
The thing is I haven’t introduced anything for the last six months
Can anyone please identify it

Aiptasia is what it looks like to me. Carefully get a razor blade and scrape it out.

Pretty confident its aiptasia. Try and ditch it before you get more.

Aiptasia is a type of nem

Just because u didn't see it in the last six months doesn't mean it wasn't there.

What I'm trying to say is this, you introduced it sometimes 6 months ago.

They will come in very small, sometimes barely visible that you'll miss it. Oh those things are sneaky.

Like others have said, scrape it off gently and swiftly before it splits. It looks like its a bit malnourished based on the faded color so I doubt it spread any.

+1 Aptasia. You got some solid info already here but just wanted to validate I’m sure it’s aptasia as well. Which is an anemone, and probably is light is color because it’s in your sump not getting regular light. But it’s 99.9999% aptasia.

It’s an aiptaisa that’s been sitting on low light part of your sump.
I have them as well and I’m well know to have a massive aiptaisa problem

Great tips. If you want to be extra safe siphon with a tube while you scrape it to catch anything it may release in an attempt to spread.
