So he decided to move by all my corals, so i had to move him, gently. H has been shriveled for two days, occasionally he regains his full shape. His mouth is open, with for the lack of a better word with **** hanging out of it. I did stress him out. My Water has 0 amm, 0 nit, a lil nitrate. and everything else is in line. two month old tank. I know thats too soon for a anemone, but everything is pristine and I got him for free from a local reefer who was just gunna trash him. Anything I can do? How will I know when or If he is completely dead, he still moves a little, and is still sticky.

I googled it online, and some peoples came back others did not.

Is its foot planted? I maybe try an overhang with a little less light? Just a guess. Mines moved twice in 3 years.

I'm not sure what u should do other than leave it be and make sure your parameters are good. That doesn't look good tho.

Its a two month old tank and you say your params are fine, what are they exactly? Other than the 3 you listed.

Well he definately died last night, He was sickly in the tank I "rescued" him from. He looked ok for a while, didn't eat though.

Has anyone has luck with carpets in the long run, and when Is a good time to add one? Like how far down the line should I think about getting a healthy one from a store?

Died like melted ? did you snap a picture? That was quick geez sorry.

Most people suggest around 6 months to a year before a nem is added but who knows I don't think all of the reef rules are always set in stone so yea. I think my tank was about 6 months to a year old but that wasn't my reasoning to add one hehehe I just found a good deal and went for it.

I've had mine about 3 years now, haddoni. Its lost some color over time though but still alive and healthy. I vary rarely feed it... who knows it may have done better with the color had I but I didn't want it to grow really large. The first year and a half it was under t5s and the 2nd year and a half its been under LEDS only. The LEDS could be part of the reason its lost some color but could also be the feeding so I'm not sure. I've also read many times they just don't keep the color they come in from the wild as.

I'll see if I can find some pictures of mine.

Here is one pretty much how it looks now. I'm gonna find an older one when it was super intensely colored BRB.

Here it is the first year or so.

he was literally disenegrating, his lime green "feelers" or tentacles were floating all over the tank. He was in bad shape.

I would let you adopt it but seriously its a half tank breakdown to get it unstuck from the bottom glass. I'm lazy so that ain't happening. I'll let you know when or if it moves. Or I buy a house in a couple years and its on.
