A couple more... These guys are legit...

Nice rose bubble tip anemone. How come I have seen some rose bubble tips anemone that are light pink, some are orange pink with dotted or lined pattern, some are just brownish pink. I was told that the brownish pink is healthy and the lighter colors are bleach? Is that true or they are simply different morph and all are healthy? Also, why some bubble tip anemone does not have bubble tip but long tentacles, while other have bubble tips? why is that?

The one pictured is actually not a rose bubble tip. It is a Rukis Inferno nem, they look exactly like the picture and they keep there bubble tips. Not all nems that are called bubble tips are actually bubble tipped. If you have a "REAL" bubble tip nem it will keep it's bubbles no matter what lighting it is put under. At Coral Gazer's in Tustin, they have bubble tip nems that are only under two T5 lamps and they still keep there bubble even though they are in a low light situation. The supposed rose bubbles that have long stringy looking tentacles are not true bubble tip nems.

im not sure, maybe just a rose nem? Bubble tips go for higher market value than normal tentacled nems do. And... Most common "rose" nems are bubble tip. So, even if they aren't most LFS just categorize them as "bubble tip" even if they are not.

What is the "technical" name of these non-bubble tip nems? Just curious since this is the first I have ever heard of Entacmaea quadricolor not actually being bubble tip. Where is this info coming from?
how do you get a RBTA to stay in one place...I just got one and he's moving all over the place....any suggestions?
They're gonna move on you no matter what until they find the place they like the best as far as flow and lighting...

My Rukis Inferno IS an Ultra Grade RBTA, the Rukis Rainbow is a RBTA also, both Entacmaea Quadricolor's. The common ones you usually see at most LFS, that dont ever have bubbles, but 4"-5" long tenticles, are usually Indonesian Long Tenticle Rose Anemones (Macrodactyla Doreensis)...

Can your bubble tips survive under 28Gallon Nano Tank with Power Compact lighting?

I had my nem from my avatar in a 24 gallon nano covered in macro algae for months and it kept its bubble. These nems are very similar. My experience with nems loosing their bubble is from poor water quality or general unhappiness from their environment.
